Ask. A human
answers.
SideSpin is built by people who play. Email support@side-spin.com with anything — bugs, rules disputes, feature requests — and you'll hear back from the person who wrote the code.
Before you write — the quick ones
When does the 30-day trial start?
The day you first open SideSpin. It runs for 30 days, there is no card to enter and nothing to cancel. When it ends, scoring stays free and your saved frames stay put; go Pro any time to see them again.
How do I restore my subscription on a new phone?
Install SideSpin on the new phone with the same Google account and your Pro subscription restores through Google Play automatically. If it doesn't appear, open Settings and tap Restore purchases.
How do I move my frames to a new device?
On the old phone, open Settings → Cloud backup (Google Drive) and tap Back up now. On the new phone, sign in to the same Google account and tap Restore from Drive. The backup lives in your own private Drive folder — we never see it.
Can I get my data out?
Always. Export my record (CSV) gives you every frame in a spreadsheet, and a JSON backup holds everything. It's your record.
Does it work without internet?
Entirely. Scoring, saving, history and stats are all offline. The only features that touch a network are the ones you trigger: Drive backup and the Play Store purchase.
Can two phones score the same frame?
Yes. Both players install SideSpin, pair from the scoreboard, and score the same frame live over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. It works phone to phone, in the same room, with no account.
Which rules does SideSpin follow?
The official ones: WPBSA for snooker, WPA for pool, World Billiards for English billiards and UMB for three-cushion. Both scoring modes follow the rulebook and only accept legal shots: Standard keeps it to one tap a foul, and Tournament records every detail a referee would.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. SideSpin is on Android today. If you would like to hear when it comes to iPhone, email us and we will let you know.
Found a scoring bug? Include the sport, the sequence you tapped, and what the scoreboard showed. Frames are immutable once saved — which is exactly why we treat scoring bugs as the most serious kind.
